HIGHLIGHTS OF AFRICA:
  • Witness the Great Annual Migration in Tanzania for an experience you will never forget! Watch the wildebeest, zebra and gazelle as they congregate on the plains of the Ngorongoro Crater, before heading towards the western corridor.

  • Take a drive along the scenic Garden Route in South Africa. With secluded coves, quaint towns and rivers, lakes and forests, it’s a beautiful stretch of coastline to explore.

  • Spend the night in a treehouse at Lion Sands Game Reserve in South Africa! Raised safely on a platform, you can spend the night watching the sunset, enjoying a picnic dinner and sleeping under the stars for a once in a lifetime experience, whilst big cats roam the game-rich plains beneath you.

  • Spot wildlife from the clouds with a sunrise hot air balloon over the Maasai Mara. Drift over the plains to spot herds of zebras grazing below or elephants moving across the landscape, before landing in the wild to enjoy a champagne breakfast!

  • Track gorillas in Rwanda! There are around 300 gorillas you can get up close to at Volcanoes National Park, so hike up mountain paths in search of these amazing apes, with the expert guides leading the way. Why not combine with a relaxing stay on a beach in Zanzibar?

BEST TIME TO VISIT:

The best time to visit this continent is determined by your destination and what you would like to do and see when there! May to September are the best months for seeing wild animals and viewing big game, whilst July to November is the best time to visit the Cape for whale watching. If you are looking for a beach holiday, the best time to visit Durban when the weather is dry and warm is between June and August.
